Clément Thevenet, co-sponsored by SGG, wins the Ice Marathon
Clément, the sole Frenchman in this competition, is also the first athlete to represent Luxembourg. Actually, Clément is Vice President Private Banking at EFG Bank Luxembourg S.A. Our champion, recently converted to the ultra-marathon, participated in extreme races such as the 250 km "Marathon of the Sands" and the 83 km Eco Trail of Paris. He is also a member of a triathlon club and practices apnea diving and fishing.
Spokesperson for “Vaincre la mucoviscidose“(Defeat cystic fibrosis)
During the Antarctic race, Clément wished to seek the floor for the "Defeat cystic fibrosis" charity: his deepest wish is to give breath back to those who have not such privilege. Because SGG actively supports socially responsible actions, we decided to co-sponsor Clément’s participation to the 2011 Antarctic Ice Marathon. We are particularly proud to have supported him and shared with him this unique experience. We congratulate Clément for his double victory but also for his courage and search for the last mile.
